The deal, in plain language.

SettleMesh lets you (or your AI agent) call metered capabilities, deploy applications with built-in login, databases, and payments, and settle usage through a single prepaid balance. Features, free-tier limits, and prices are listed on /pricing and in tool contracts; those pages are the authoritative, current values.

You sign in with a supported identity provider. One account holds one Aev balance. You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys; keep keys secret and rotate them if exposed. You must be legally able to enter this agreement.

Aev is a prepaid usage credit, not money, legal tender, an investment, or a deposit. It earns no interest, exists only inside SettleMesh, and is non-transferable except through platform features (e.g. paying for usage, earnings settlement). Your balance is the only hard spending limit: when it runs out, paid actions return a top-up prompt — we do not create negative balances or surprise invoices.

Automatic: if a metered call fails on our side, the held amount is automatically released back to your balance — this is built into settlement, not a request you have to make.

Top-ups: unused, recently purchased credits are refundable on request within 14 days of purchase, less payment-processor fees. Credits already consumed by usage are not refundable. Promotional or granted credits have no cash value and are not refundable.

You own the code and content you deploy. You grant us the rights needed to build, host, serve, and operate it (including injecting platform runtime configuration). You are responsible for what your app does, the content it serves, and your obligations to its end users — including their data and any terms you owe them.

When end users pay to use your app or service, your share settles to your balance according to the pricing and split shown at publication time. Earned balance can be used on-platform; cash-out mechanisms, where offered, carry their own verification and processor requirements.

You may not use SettleMesh to:

• host or distribute illegal content, malware, or phishing;
• mine cryptocurrency, run proxies/relays, or otherwise abuse free-tier compute;
• probe, attack, or circumvent platform isolation, egress guards, billing, or rate limits;
• infringe others' rights or violate applicable law.

We may throttle, suspend, or remove workloads that violate these rules or threaten platform integrity — with notice where practical, immediately where necessary.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your card details. Apps run on infrastructure providers (e.g. Google Cloud, Cloudflare). Capability calls may route to third-party model and data providers under their own terms.

The service is provided “as is” during active development. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site and apply going forward. You can stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms; on termination of a compliant account, Section 4's refund rules apply to unused purchased credits.
